Our Story

We are the Davidsons. We were born and raised in rural West TN. Addison is from Dyer, TN and I (Mary Beth) grew up in Mason Hall, TN. We started dating in high school, got married in 2018, and moved here to Morristown as a newly married couple due to Addison’s new job. His first placement was a soil conservationist with the Natural Resources and Conservation Service in Hamblen & Grainger County. He now serves as the District Conservationist in Knox & Sevier County. I (Mary Beth) was a Special Education teacher in Hamblen County before we had our first baby in 2020 and decided to stay home with him. So, no we aren’t natives, but we do call this place home.

Since he was a little boy in the field with his grandad, Addison has been farming row crop. He drove his first tractor at 13 years old. Farming has been a part of his life as long as he can remember. He started working some of his own land in 2018 which was the beginning of the dream we’ve always had together…. this farm.

I (Mary Beth) was the livestock girl. As a child, my Grandaddy helped with keeping my love for horses alive by purchasing a shetland pony named Sugarbabe when I was only 3 years old. My love for horses grew into barrel racing and riding rinks on the weekends. I saddled my first pony when I was only 5 years old, shoed my first horse at 10 years old, and always found myself in the barn every chance I got. I grew up with chickens in the yard and a love for animals that still gets me in trouble today.

Addison and I purchased our first head of cattle last year in hopes and good faith to build our dreams of owning our own farm. We never dreamed that we would ever be able to do that here in East TN, but the Lord had other plans and we are so grateful for His blessings and guidance in our lives.

So, when you support us, you are supporting a dream that we thought wouldn’t happen here and we are so grateful. Thanks for being on this journey with us.
